Easy ground beef recipe. Goes best with fried potatoes and maybe a side salad.

Ingredients
  • 1½ lb. ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tube refrigerator biscuits

Directions
  1. Brown the hamburger in a large oven-proof skillet. (I use a cast-iron skillet.)
  2. Add chopped onion and cook only until beef no longer pink and onion is tender.
  3. Add soup and cream cheese to skillet and heat on low only until well blended.
  4. Bake in a 375° oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the biscuits on top of meat mixture to cover.
  6. Return to oven to bake another 15 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
  7. Serve with fried potatoes, mashed potatoes or hash browns and a side salad, if desired.
