Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into dices.
  • Boil until soft.
  • Mash.
  • Whisk in the butter, cream and baking powder.
  • Place big spoonfuls of mixture into an oven dish.
  • Cover with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 360 deg f (180 deg C) for 20 - 25 minutes.
  • Serve as a side dish

    These look really good, an easy & attractive way to jazz-up mashed; and, I'm with Robert -- I can see roasted garlic, or maybe even green onions or chives going in the mash... I bet this would be great with meatloaf! Thanks, Liezel, for (yet another!) great post!
