Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups Florida's Natural Premium Brand Ruby Red grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- stick of cinnamon
- 1-1/2 oz. can ginger ale, chilled
- ice cubes
- grapefruit skin peels (optional)
- edible flowers (optional)
- fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Directions
- Syrup Preparation
- Combine Florida's Natural Premium Brand Ruby Red grapefruit juice, sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Discard cinnamon; cover and chill syrup.
- To Serve
- Fill four 8-oz. glasses with ice. Add about 1/3 cup grapefruit syrup to each glass. Fill glass with ginger ale. Stir gently. If desired, garnish with grapefruit peel curls, edible flowers and fresh mint sprigs.
