Chocolate Almond Coffee

this is the basic recipe.. you can jazz it up by adding your favorite flavor of alcohol or change the flavor of the ice cream.. chocolate mint is good. this recipe is from a Betty Crocker recipe Pamphlet
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 2 teasp. powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/8 teasp. almond extract shopping list
- 4 scoops ( about 1/4 cup each) shopping list
- 4 cups hot coffee shopping list
- optional... chocolate shavings shopping list
How to make it
- beat whipping cream, powdered sugar and the almond extract in a chilled small bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form
- place 1 scoop of ice cream in each of the 4 mugs
- pour hot coffee over the ice cream
- top with whipped cream
- garnish with the chocolate shavings
- serve immediately
- optional: add your favorite flavor of alcohol
