Cheesey Stuffed Pasta Shells W 3 Meat Tomato Sauce

- For Shells; shopping list
- 1 box jumbo pasta shells (cooked aldente) shopping list
- 2c. ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1c. parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1c. mozzarella shopping list
- 1 10 oz. box chopped spinach (thawed and drained) shopping list
- 1/2t. minced garlic shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/3c. finely minced onion shopping list
- 1t. red pepper flakes shopping list
- 2T. balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 2T. honey shopping list
- For Meat Sauce; shopping list
- 1/3c. olive oil shopping list
- 2large onions minced shopping list
- 4 slices beacon chopped shopping list
- 2t. minced garlic shopping list
- 1lb. sausage shopping list
- 2lb. ground chuck shopping list
- 11/2c. red wine shopping list
- 3large cans crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 small can tomato paste shopping list
- 2t. dried basil shopping list
- 1t. dried oregano shopping list
- 1t. dried rosemary shopping list
- 4T. balsamic vinegar shopping list
- For Topping; shopping list
- 1c. parmesan grated shopping list
- 1c. shredded mozzarella shopping list
How to make it
- Boil Shells and drain
- In a large bowl mix all filling ingredients till well incorporated
- stuff each shell very full and lay in extra large casserole or lasagna pan
- Set aside
- For Sauce;
- Add olive oil to a large stock pot
- Add onions and cook till light carmel color
- Add chopped beacon, cook till crisp
- Add garlic cook 2-3 min.
- Add sausage and ground chuck and cook just till all pink is gone
- Add red wine, tomatoes, tomato paste and simmer 60 min stirring often
- In the last 15 min add balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano,rosemary, and honey
- You may choose here to add enough spices to suit your own personal taste
- Pour sauce over the stuffed shells
- Sprinkle cheeses on top
- Bake for about 45 min or until top is golden
