How to make it

  • Melt chocolate in a saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add sugar, egg and milk and beat until smooth.
  • Chill until firm enough to handle, about 30 minutes.
  • Shape into 1/2 inch balls, ovals or logs.
  • Roll in decorations.
  • Makes about 5 dozen.
  • Decorations:
  • Flake coconut
  • Chocolate or colored decors
  • Colored sugar crystals
  • Chopped almonds
