Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients well in a largre bowl
  • Spray large baking pan with cooking spray
  • Pour all ingredients into baking sheet
  • Roast at 325 for about 3 hours or until all juices are reduced to a thicken consistency and veggies are begining to carmelize.
  • Pour over cooked pasta of your choice
  • Top with shredded Pecorino Romano
  • Serve

    Okay, I have to say, that this is the most incredible recipe that I have tried on the website so far. The entire house is just smelling like the best Italian Restaurant that you have ever been in. The sauce has such a deep and rich tomato flavor! It is still in the oven...made it for our dinner tomorrow as I won't be home all day.....this gets my high 20 if there was such a thing! My husband and I cannot wait to enjoy this fantastic recipe! Going to serve it over my homemade Gnocchi! Thank you so much Grandmommy for this wonderful creation of yours!

    OMG! This looks wonderful! I always make summer pasta sauce with fresh tomatoes in a frying pan....but yours looks much, much better! Thanks!
