Warm ya up soup

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 red pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 lb of smoked susage, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 cans of chicken broth shopping list
- 1 can of pinto beans shopping list
- 1 lg. carrot, shredded shopping list
- 1 med. yellow squash, finely chopped shopping list
- 2 stalks of celery chopped shopping list
- 1 T of parsely shopping list
- 1/8 t ground pepper shopping list
- 2 pinches of red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 can of cajun stewed tomatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Coat a large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray and heat.
- Add garlic, onions, red peppers and saute' untill tender, not browned.
- Remove the veggies from pan and set aside.
- Add susage to skillet and saute' until browned slightly.
- In a medium pot, combine the broth, beans, carrots, squash, celery, parsley, bay leaf, tomatoes, onions and pepper flakes.
- Simmer on medium for about 5 minutes, stirring as needed.
- Add susage and simmer for 5 minutes on medium low.
- Remove and discard the bay leaf.
