Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a pitcher, mix together Faygo Twist, warm water and lemon juice. Add flowers in favorite arrangement. The Faygo Flower Saver should be at least 3 to 4 inches deep on flower stems.
  • Why it works: The lemon in the Faygo works to lower the water's pH. The sugar replaces the glucose that the plants are missing for energy. Together they make your floral arrangement last and last.
  • Note: Mixture will be cloudy but it's worth it.

I can't get Faygo here (I miss it!), but will try with 7up or Sprite.
Great post! I always have fresh flowers in the living room and kitchen. Cheers you up!

I'm guessing Faygo is a lemony soda, too? I think it's a midwestern thing. I'm guessing we can use Sprite as well? :o)

Great post, I've heard of using a lemon lime soft drink with a similar idea. I guess that's what faygo is...?! Jett
