- 1 1/4 cups flour (can use whole wheat) shopping list
- 1 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3/4 cups buttermilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese (can use plain yogurt) shopping list
- 2 tbsp honey shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 cup corn (thaw if using frozen) shopping list
How to make it
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Mix the rest (except for corn) until smooth.
- Add corn to wet ingredients.
- Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Spread into 8 by 8 inch pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is slightly golden and toothpick comes out clean.
