Mom Cant Count 3 Bean Salad

- 1 can bean Salad, with liquid shopping list
- 1 can Garbonzo beans, rinsed shopping list
- 1 can green beans, rinsed shopping list
- 1 can wax beans, rinsed shopping list
- 1 can kidney beans, rinsed shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped (I like to use Red or Walla Walla) shopping list
- 2/3 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/3 cup oil shopping list
- 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (to taste really) shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Making the marinade: In a sauce pan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, and onion. Stirring to disolve sugar and prevent scorching, bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Safety tip, don't put your face right over pot and inhale while boiling. That vinegar steam will kick your butt!)
- In large sealable bowl, container, add all canned items. Pour in marinade, stir, cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Great for everyday or potlucks or picnics. Especially in summer when a cool refreshing salad really hits the spot and won't spoil sitting out on that picnic table.

Hey, you can't count just like ME!!!!!!!!! Back in the early 70's my moom had to send me garbonzo beans from CAlifornia as couldn't find them in stores in north Alabama!!!!!!!!!
