Some boo - boos, you can add some olive oil to the sauce to make it cook better and you can also add some sugar so that the sauce is not too spicy. You decide. Also some misspelled words - senior minds do this all the time! So please excuse!

LOL! I read the 'booboos' note -- and you couldn't be more right!! The Sicilian's usually do add good olive oil, and a bit of sugar, to the sauce -- especially when it's being slow-cooked... My girlfriend used to brown the meat, garlic, and onions, then add all of the ingredients to her slow cooker and cook it for hours and hours!! Great sauce!!
Thank you for the memories....

This sound soooo good. Thanks Writr.

So glad you both enjoyed reading Grandma's old receipe. My younger sister rewrote it for me and I tried to put it down from memory. So much for a senior's memory! LOL - Try it sometime...takes a long time but boy is it ever good!

It is a must to make this week, the ingredients and style is perfect! :)

So glad you enjoyed viewing this Lasagna receipe. Would love to hear how you enjoyed it too.

Howdy! I sure love lasagna. My mama used to make some good lasagna. My grandparents were Italian and Polish(mom's side) and my dad's side was Croatian.... This is something I will try soon, Thanks! Jett

Glad you might try my Lasagna receipe...let me know how it turns out. Sometimes I add sweet Italian sausage to it too and I forgot to say that if you want it the sauce a little sweeter you can add some sugar, sweet n low/splenda or a carrot!

I just noticed I had commented on lasagna?!? I must have stumbled on this recipe and was thinking about lasagna! LOL - Who knows!! These cookies sound great! Jett

Yes, I did have the lasagna receipe up there but it disappeared. Lol Have to put it back up there as soon as I can. Hope you enjoy the cookies as well.
