Garlicky Buttered-lemon Shrimp Recipe
My personal favorite!! This is a must for any shrimp lover.These are not boiled,but steamed in butter.Too delicious!

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs.uncooked shell-on shrimp (medium to jumbo size)
  • 2 1/2 sticks butter (no margarine)
  • 2 lemons
  • 4-6 garlic cloves (halved)

Directions
  1. Rinse raw shrimp in lukewarm water until completely thawed.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a stock pot,over low-medium heat,add butter and garlic.
  4. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the pot and throw in the smooshed lemons.
  5. When the butter is melted and starts to bubble,add the raw shrimp.
  6. PLEASE be careful not to scorch the butter.
  7. Cover with lid and shake pot back and forth over burner (kinda the old fashioned way you'd make popcorn).
  8. Do not remove the lid,and cook for 16-18 minutes,constantly shaking the pot.
  9. Once cooked,the shrimp will be the most beautiful pink-orange color.
  10. Peel and eat,using remaining lemon-butter for dipping.

Now this is my kind of recipe, anything with that much butter and garlic is good. Oh the shrimp in it sounds good too. Awesome post:o)
