Hot milk Sponge cake with Coconut Topping

- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp, vanilla shopping list
- 2 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 2 Ttbsp. margarina shopping list
- coconut Topping shopping list
- ½ cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter margarine shopping list
- ¼ cup milk or cream shopping list
- ½ cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1 cup shreded coconut shopping list
How to make it
- In mixing bowl, beat well eggs and add sugar and vanilla, et aside
- Combine separately flour, baking powder and salt.
- With a rubber spatula Fol. Dry ingredients into eggmixture.
- In a small aucepan boil milk and margarine… then add slowly to batter, stirring gently . Pour into well greased and floured 7 x 12 “or 9x9” cake pan. Bake 30 – 35 minutes
- Coconut Topping
- Combineall ingredientsand spread on cake and broil fr 2 – 4 minutes until brown.

My mom used to make a hot milk sponge cake....and I lost the recipe for it.... this one sounds delcious... Cant wait to make it....Thanks so much for posting it..
