Translated it means stovetop cookie. Almost like flapjacks I think. You make this on a stovetop, serve for breakfast and put on honey, butter, cheese, jams and so on on top. Enjoy! My family loves this.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 4 tbsp sugar (50 ml) shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 1/3 cup milk (300 ml) shopping list
- 2 cups cake flour (500 ml) shopping list
- 4 teaspoons baking powder (20 ml) shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (2 ml) shopping list
How to make it
- Beat eggs and sugar together.
- Melt butter.
- Mix butter and 1/2 cup milk together.
- Stir into egg mixture.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Stir or beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Pour in the rest of the milk.
- Mix well.
- Heat up a heavy egg pan with a little bit of oil.
- Place tablespoons full of dough in the oil.
- Put this on medium heat.
- Wait until bubbles form on the cookie, then turn over.
- When you press the cookie and no dough is oozing out, you can take it out.
- Serve hot or cold.
- Serve with butter, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon sugar, cheese, jams or cream.
