Tuscan Fried Chicken Pollo Fritto Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Beat together with a fork, olive oil, garlic and lemon
  • Marinate chicken for 1 hour turning several times to coat
  • Heat 1 inch of olive oil in a skillet to 375 degrees
  • Beat eggs well adding salt and papper
  • Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry
  • Dredge lightly in flour
  • Dip in egg
  • Slip into hot oil and cook until well browned on both sides
  • Drain on paper towels
  • Serve with lemon wedges
