It is always gone before I know it and it is extremely fattening, which I love and goes great with a latte.

Ingredients
  • 4 Mars Bars ( I like the king size because I am a chocoholic) sliced into pieces.
  • 1 Tin Condensed Milk
  • 1 Packet of Shortbread Biscuits
  • 100 grams melted Butter
  • 300 grams melting Chocolate Buds ( dark for the adults)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Crush biscuits and then add melted butter, press into a slice tin.
  3. Arrange Mars Bar pieces on top of biscuit base.
  4. Pour over evenly tin of condensed milk.
  5. Do not lick the lid OK. I know it is tempting but it is really dangerous for your tongue. Trust me, I know.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 Min's, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool and refrigerate.
  8. Then melt the chocolate buds in the microwave on a medium setting ( 450 watts) Spread over the whole slice.
  9. Allow to sit until the chocolate sets.
  10. Then cut into pieces.
  11. I always cut of the edges off so that the slice pieces are even and pretty. Don't worry there is always someone around to take the edge bits of your hands.
  12. Refrigerate and eat at will.

A pan of these...a latte...ah the makings of a perfect evening.


Sounds like my kind of treat...and fyi, you can scrape the lid with a dull utensil, and lick from there....much safer! You just can't let it go to waste......


I actually purchased a tiny silicone spatula specifically for the purpose of scraping the lid of condensed milk tins! This is COMPLETELY true I'm ashamed to admit but I have been hurt by the lid... Great post, my squishy bits thank you!
