Pineapple Sheet Cake

- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups crushed pineapple with juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans, optional shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 3/4 cup margarine shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet. 11x17
- Mix eggs and 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- Add flour, baking soda and pineapple
- Mix well and pour into pan
- Sprinkle brown sugar over top
- Bake 20-25 minutes
- Remove from oven, poke with fork all over and pour glaze on top
- Let cool and cut into bars
- GLAZE
- Combine all ingredients in saucepan
- Boil for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly and pour over cake

Eggs and sugar with the dry ingredients are just enough to have a perfect texture for this one..You are right.The juice of the pineapple makes it more tender than normal sponge cake texture.This is a masterpiece.Thanks Michelle.
