Ingredients

12 strawberries, hulled and halved

1 banana

2 1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 cup sugar

3 tablespoons corn starch

Directions

Line an aluminum pie plate with tin foil. Place 2 cups of chocolate chips into pie plate and heat in 425º F oven for 10 minutes to let melt. Form melted chocolate into pie shell. Refrigerate to harden chocolate.

To make filling. Combine strawberries, sugar and cornstarch and heat in pot over medium heat till syrupy consistency is achieved. Refrigerate to let cool.

When chocolate pie shell is cooled and hardened, place banana slices into the shell. Pour cooled strawberry mixture over bananas.

Peel away the aluminum foil to reveal the chocolate shell. Drizzle 1/2 cup melted chocolate over the strawberries and refrigerate to let set.

Serve when cooled.
