Chili Peanut Oil

- High-flavor, roasted peanut oil 1 cup shopping list
- Whole dried arbol chiles, seeded and stemmed ½ cup shopping list
- sesame oil (optional) 1 Tbsp. shopping list
How to make it
- In a stainless steel pot, heat the chilies and the oil over medium heat until the peppers begin to foam.
- When the pepper begin to blacken (approximately 10 minutes), turn off the heat, cover, and allow to sit for 2 hours or longer.
- Strain and keep in a covered jar in a cool location out of the light.
