Potato Bread

- 1 C. mashed potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 C. oil shopping list
- 1/2 C. sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 pkgs. dry yeast + 1 tspn sugar in 1/2 c. luke warm water shopping list
- 1 C warm milk or water shopping list
- 6 to 8 C. flour shopping list
- 1 to 2 Tbsp oil shopping list
- flour for rolling shopping list
- cinnamon rolls shopping list
- butter (melted) shopping list
- cinnamon shopping list
- sugar shopping list
- Creamy vanilla frosting shopping list
- 3 C. powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 tspn vanilla shopping list
- About 2 Tbspns or more of milk to desired thickness shopping list
How to make it
- Have mashed potatoes cooled and ready.
- Mix all ingredients except the flour.
- Add four cups of flour to start with.
- When mixed, add one cup of flour at a time to form a soft dough.
- Put oil in large bowl . Moving the bowl to grease where the dough will go.
- Put dough in bowl and cover with a dish towel. I turn on the oven at the lowest degree and then turn it off .
- Then I put the dough in the oven and let dough rise.
- When the dough has doubled in size, punch down and start to form bread loaves, or dinner rolls or my families favorite Cinnamon Rolls.
- After forming loaves or rolls place in greased baking pan cover again and let rise.
- Bake at 350* for 20 to 25 mins.
- Cinnamon Rolls
- Roll out dough on floured mat.
- Pour some butter and smooth around.
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on dough.( It's up to you how much you want to use.)
- Roll dough up.
- Cut into roll about an 1 1/2 inches thick.
- Place in a greased baking pan and cover and let rise again.
- Bake at 350* for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Make the frosting while the rolls are baking.
- Mix powdered sugar and margarine.
- Then add the vanilla and milk.
- The frosting is ready to be spread on the rolls when they come out of the oven.Making a perfect glaze for a wonderful treat.
