20 Slivers Of Garlic Pork Loin Roast Recipe
This pork loin roast has the most delicious flavor. This is a long time family favorite. Made it tonight. As usual, there were rave reviews.

Ingredients
  • 1 bone-in 5 pound Pork Loin Roast
  • 20 slivers *fresh* garlic (sliced vertically)
  • Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • Paprika
  • Black Pepper, coarsely ground
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Olive oil

Directions
  1. Place roast on heavy duty aluminum foil
  2. With sharp knife, make 20 pockets all over roast
  3. Place the 20 slivers of garlic in the 20 pockets
  4. Sprinkle with Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  5. Sprinkle with paprika
  6. Sprinkle with black pepper
  7. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper
  8. Drizzle olive oil all over
  9. Bring the sides of foil up over the roast and seal
  10. Place in pan
  11. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
  12. Turn oven down to 325-350 degrees and cook for about 4 hours
  13. Insert a meat thermometer to test for doneness
  14. Remove from oven and let it set for about 15 minutes before slicing

I do the same thing with a venison roast, the flavor is just incredible!


Only 20? yep, I do it too, also with the beef. Besides, garlic is good for you.


This is simply the most delicious pork roast I haver had. Had it for dinner tonight. I love a lot of garlic in just about every thing I eat.
