Walnut cake

- butter(for pan0 shopping list
- flour(for pan) shopping list
- 1c flour shopping list
- 1/4tsp salt shopping list
- 1tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2tsp ground cloves shopping list
- 2c walnuts shopping list
- 1c(2 sticks) unsalted butter at room temperature shopping list
- 11/3c granulated sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Set oven at 350. Butter and flour 10" springform pan
- In a bowl,sift flour,salt,cinnamon and cloves.
- In a food processor,grind the nuts until they are medium fine
- In an electric mixer,cream the butter,. Add the sugar,gradually in 3 stages,beating after each one. Add the eggs,one by one,beating only until they are incorporated.
- Remove the bowl from mixer stand. With a rubber spatula,stir in the nuts,,then fold in the flour mixture.
- Pour the batter into pan,smooth the top,and bake the cake for 45 mins. or till a skewer inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
