How to make it

  • Set oven at 350. Butter and flour 10" springform pan
  • In a bowl,sift flour,salt,cinnamon and cloves.
  • In a food processor,grind the nuts until they are medium fine
  • In an electric mixer,cream the butter,. Add the sugar,gradually in 3 stages,beating after each one. Add the eggs,one by one,beating only until they are incorporated.
  • Remove the bowl from mixer stand. With a rubber spatula,stir in the nuts,,then fold in the flour mixture.
  • Pour the batter into pan,smooth the top,and bake the cake for 45 mins. or till a skewer inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
