How to make it

  • Fry bacon in a large skillet, remove to paper towel to drain. You need about 6 T. of fat so add butter if needed. Stir in flour until well blended, cook over med heat for 2 to 3 min, until bubbly. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, boil until thick and smooth, turn down heat add pepper, crumble bacon into gravy and gently stir eggs into gravy. Serve over toast or biscuits. Sprinkle green onions on top.
