How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Cut in the butter until mixture is the consistency of coarse meal.
  • Pour in milk.
  • Mix well.
  • Stir in the grated onions and mix well.
  • Knead lightly on foured board.
  • Roll out about one inch thick.
  • Cut into 12 2 inch rounds.
  • Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush with additional butter.
  • Bake in preheated 375 degree oven about 30 minutes.
