Chaurice Sausage with Creole Sauce

- 2-lbs chaurice sausage links shopping list
- 3-tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1-large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1-clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1-tsp salt shopping list
- 1-tsp freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2-tsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/2-cup boiling water shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet
- Lightly brown the onion
- Add the tomatoes and garlic, stirring
- Add the sausage, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes
- Sprinkle with salt & pepper
- Add the boiling water
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes
- Great with eggs for breakfast!
