Baked Reubens Recipe
One of our favorite sandwiches is the Reuben, this one of the variations I make.

Ingredients
  • 2 tubes crescent rolls
  • 1 can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 can corned beef
  • ½ C. thousand island dressing
  • 1 C. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp caraway seed

Directions
  1. Unroll crescent roll dough and form into rectangles by pressing two triangles together along diagonal perforation.
  2. Combine the sour Kraut, meat, cheese, dressing and caraway seed in a bowl.
  3. Place ½ C. onto the rectangle. Fold the dough over and press the edges together to seal.
  4. Bake at 425° for 10 min (or until golden) on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Cherlilyn, we have always loved ruebens, and these look like no exception. I would also like to try to make these a bit smaller for appetizers. Good job, and thanks.
