Ingredients

1 1/4 cups sugar

1/2 cup butter (or butter and lard)

1/2 cup milk

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

3 eggs

Alts:

2 tablespoons unsweetened chocolate

Small Fruit cake

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon ginger

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cloves

1 cup raisins (any dried fruit really)

Directions

Mix all of the above together.

Cook in a 13 by 9 inch pan for 30ish minutes at 350 degrees.

Frost with boiled icing.

This is a thick batter, you really have to spread it.

I added more liguid then it called for and 1 less egg the second time around.

It is a good cake, more of a pound cake to be honest.
