How to make it

  • Drain the cherries well and dry lightly with paper towels. They have to be dry!
  • Pick up three cherries and hold them together by the stems.
  • Dip the cherries into the chocolate and let excess fall off.
  • Place dipped cherries on to wax paper or "Release" aluminum foil to try.
  • Once these have dried, you can melt white chocolate and drizzle over the cherries OR sprinkle with cake sprinkles cake glitter.
  • I serve these with a vanilla or lemon mousse. Delicious!
  • * I couldn't find cherries with the stem intact one day so I bought a bag of small pretzel sticks and stuck them in the dried cherries. I dipped them one at a time and served them that way. They were good! You can always dip the cherries individually and then hold three together and redip them. They're larger in size. More chocolate for your guests!

    I thought it was cute that you stuck pretzel sticks in the cherries for stems :) Pretty darn creative, too! :) My hubby LOVES maraschino cherries....I'll be making these soon! Thx, Annie! :)
