How to make it

  • place the pears in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish
  • in a small bowl combine the brown sugar, apple juice and the butter.. pour over the pears
  • bake uncovered in at 400'F for 20 minutes, basting occasionally
  • sprinkle the pecans over the pears and bake for another 10 - 15 minutes or until the pears are tender
  • transfer pears to serving dishes
  • pour cooking juice into a small bowl. whisk in the cream until blended
  • drizzle over pears
  • serve with ice cream and/or cake
