I whipped up these meatballs for some spaghetti :) Loved the mixture of beef and pork and the shallots were a nice change from the usual onion in my meatballs. Made a ton of meatballs, so I froze some, thanks!! Added a little bit more in the IMI II --------------> Meatballs For Lasagne

Another fine looking bowl of Meatballs for Lasagne. Mother loves them straight up, me too. Not making any lasagne this time. :)This is using Borinda's Tomato Sauce Recipe. Credit due; it is a very tasty sauce.

I have such big meat hooks. It's hard to make the meatballs 1". They are 3 fingers diameter. That's about an inch and a quarter to an inch and a half. Got 37 meatballs out of the recipe.

You're in the batter's box. Meatballs are made. Waiting for the sauce to start reducing before they go in.

Sauce? What sauce? Where'd the tomato sauce come from? It's not on the list of ingredients. I'm hoping you're not meaning tomato sauce out of the can or bottle.

Here's me standing up, pointing, and yelling, BLASPHEMER!!!!!!!!!!!..........GENTILE!!!!!!!

How could you work up meatballs from scratch, then cook them in store bought sauce.

Had to look up a nice tomato sauce recipe on this site to keep it all home made.
