    I make this quite often. I to put green beans and onions in my hamburger mixture, I should try it with corn. I never have before but it sounds good too. Also I seem to never have gravy around so I put shreddred cheese on top of the potatoe, beef mixture and bake it til the cheese is melted. High Five Thanks for the post. *****

    Love this, quite a lot of these recipes contain corn (wasn't popular in Britain) and green beans which aren't traditional either. Your recipe sounds wonderful.

    Dottie,between 1940 and 1950? That recipe looks a little yellow around the edges,---Just Like ME!!--Love those old recipes,have been coming across alot lately.Thank-you Dottie
