If you are wanting to cook/bake without eggs, have no fear! Each of these will replace one egg in a recipe. These are best used in recipes that call for 2 or less eggs. I have tried all of them, except for the one with gelatin. Read more Cooking without eggs takes a bit of practice and a bit or trial and error. All in all, it's pretty easy! See less
Ingredients
- 1 tsp baking powder + 1 Tbsp liquid + 1 Tbsp vinegar = 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp yeast dissolved in 1/4 c warm water = 1 egg shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tbsp water + 1 1/2 Tbsp oil + 1 tsp baking powder = 1 egg shopping list
- 1 Tbsp pureed fruit (mangoes and apples works well!) = 1 egg shopping list
- 1 packet gelatin + 2 Tbsp warm water = 1 egg shopping list
How to make it
- Each of these replaces 1 egg in a recipe that calls for eggs.
