Butterball or Mexican Wedding Cakes

- 2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
- bag of Hersheys kisses shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Using a pastry blender or fork, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add vanilla and nuts.
- Mix with hands to form a smooth dough.
- Wrap the dough around a Hershey kiss so you can't see the chocolate.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Cool one minute and then remove from the cookie sheets.
- Carefully roll in powdered sugar.
- Store in tightly covered container or freeze.
- Makes 5 dozen cookies.
