Sweet And Sour Pork Chops On Rice Recipe
Instead of deep fried sweet and sour pork, this leaner version of sweet & sour pork chops is one of my family favourites. I hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 pork chops (3/4 inch)
  • 10 oz of chicken stock
  • 3 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of vinegar
  • 1 14 oz can of unsweetend pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1/2 of green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 of red pepper, chopped
  • 4 c of hot cooked rice

Directions
  1. Heat oil over medium high in skillet. Add chops and cook until brown on both sides. Remove from pan.
  2. Combine sugar, broth, cornstarch, honey and vinegar in skillet. Bring sauce up to boil. Add chops, pineapple and peppers.
  3. Reduce heat to medium low.
  4. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until chops are cooked but still tender
  5. Serve over rice.
