Ingredients
  • 1 lb Mutton, lean finely minced
  • ¾ tsp. Corianders
  • 1 tsp. Ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp. Gound ginger
  • ½ tsp. Ground chillies
  • ½ tsp. Ground poppy seeds
  • Pinch of.. ( each) cinnamon, cardamon
  • 1 tsp shreded coconut
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 garlic, finely minced
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice .

Directions
  1. Make a mixture of met and spices list above.
  2. In a stew pan heat the ghee and fry lightly th onions and the garlic.
  3. Dd this to the above mixure, stir well and cookslowly for about 10 -15 min. Turn out on a platter, let cool, and then, either grind it or pound it to a past with a squeeze of lemon juice.
  4. Form into oval cutlets and fry in the usual way, or press onto metal sewers and grill, basting well.
