I made this one time for a friend's son's birthday party, and boy everyone loves it! Have to make it in the am before serving in the afternoon or evening as it needs approx 5-7 hours to set.

Ingredients
  • 12 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 can white aerosol whipped cream
  • 1 bag (approx 10 oz) candy coated chocolate or peanut butter pieces, such as M&M, Reese's pieces, etc.

Directions
  1. Place candy pieces in plastic bag and strike with heavy spoon to coarsely chopped
  2. Arrange 4 ice sandwiches long sides touching on a flat serving plate.
  3. Squirt an even layer of whipped cream over top, making sure whipped cream extends to outside edges for best appearance
  4. Sprinkle 1/3 c chopped candy pieces on whipped cream
  5. Repeat layers twice
  6. Garnish top as desired
  7. Freeze at least 5-7 hours, depends on the freezer or until firm.
  8. Cut with serrated knife
  9. Enjoy!!

I made this for dessert and my guests loved it! I omitted the candy and sprinkled the top of the cake with colored sugar. This was very easy and tasted just like the cakes from the ice-cream shops! I'll definitely be making this again! I added my photo!

Sounds wonderful!

Looks very easy to make.
