Hungarian Baked Chicken Recipe
The more paprika the better if you loike it spicy

Ingredients
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 1 Fryer Chicken, Cut Up
  • 2 T Paprika
  • 1 Small Head Green Cabbage – Cored and cut into ½ inch slices
  • 2 Red Apples Cored & Sliced
  • 1 Medium Onion – thinly sliced
  • 1 T Lemon Peel grated
  • ½ t caraway seed
  • 1 ½ cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • 1 t sugar

Directions
  1. Cut Butter and put in bottom of 9x13 pan or casserole dish.
  2. Spread cut up chicken over butter, and sprinkle paprika over all.
  3. Evenly place cabbage over chicken. Evenly place sliced apples over all.
  4. Evenly place onions over all.
  5. Sprinkle Lemon peel, caraway seed, salt, pepper, sugar and shredded swiss cheese over all.
  6. Bake at 375 for 35 -45 minutes. Until chicken is done.
