Baked Pork Spring Rolls

- 1/2 lb ground pork shopping list
- 1 c finely shredded cabbage shopping list
- 1/4 c finely shredded carrot shopping list
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp grated fresh ginger root shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tsp chile sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tbsp water shopping list
- 1 16 oz pkg spring roll wrappers shopping list
- 4 tsp vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425F
- Brown pork in medium saucepan on medium high heat and break up into fine crumbles.
- Remove from heat and drain well
- In a medium bowl, mix together pork, cabbage, carrot, green onion, cilantro, sesame oil, oyster sauce, ginger, garlic and chile sauce
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl
- Place 1 tbsp of pork mixture 3/4 way down on wrapper
- Fold bottom up over mixture, then fold insides toward center
- Roll wrapper up to seal
- Moisten finger with cornstarch and water mixture, brush wrapper seam to seal
- Arrange spring rolls in a single layer on a medium baking sheet
- Brush with vegetable oil
- Bake in a preheated oven 20 minutes, until hot and lightly browned.
- For crispier spring rolls,turn after 10 minutes
