Perfectly Peanutty Banana Bars

- 1/4 cup low-fat peanut butter shopping list
- 1 cup ripe mashed bananas (about 3) shopping list
- 1/4 cup low-fat plain soy milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 3 tbsp hot water shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Beat together the peanut butter and banana until smooth with electric beaters.
- Beat in the soy milk, vanilla, water, cornstarch, flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- Fold in the peanuts.
- Bake for 30 minutes until browned. Chill before slicing.
