This bread recipe has a flavor and texture like English muffins. Nothing like homemade bread in the morning!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups of water at room temperature
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups of bread flour
  • 3 Tbsp nonfat dry milk
  • 2 teaspoons yeast

Directions
  1. Put the ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed above unless directed otherwise by your bread machine instructions.
  2. Color of bread is determined by your choice. I usually prefer dark to medium crust.
  3. Length of baking time will be according to your particular bread machine. This recipe is for a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread.
