Ham And Cheese Rollup Recipe

This is such an easy recipe to throw together on a weeknight. Makes a great lunch or supper meal, I served it with a salad. I said it serves 8, but that's not counting teens.

Ingredients
- 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- sliced ham (about a pound or to your liking)
- sliced or shredded cheese (8 slices or 8 ounces shredded)
- mustard (I used a nice grainy one)
- beaten egg
Directions
- Unfold pastry, brush with about 1 Tablespoon of mustard.
- Lay ham slices on top.
- Put cheese slices or shredded cheese on top of ham.
- Roll up from long side, jelly roll style.
- Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Repeat with other sheet of pastry.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
- Let rest 5 minutes before cutting.
- Cut into approximately 2 inch pieces.
