Beer Steak

- 3 pounds round steaks, 1" thick, cut into serving sized pieces shopping list
- 1 cup flour or cornstarch to make this gluten-free shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 12 ounce can beer - use gluten-free beer to make this gf shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 6 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
How to make it
- Cut all fat off the steaks. Pound flour into steaks well using a meat mallet. Season both sides well with salt & pepper. Melt butter and oil in large electric skillet and brown steaks on both sides.
- Combine the beer, vinegar, mustard and garlic. Pour over steak, cover and simmer for 2 hours until fork tender. Serve with sauce.
- NOTE: Check liquid levels and add a little water, if needed. Noodles & brocolli round this out nicely.
