Pizza Flatbread

- 1 1/2 cups warm water shopping list
- 1 package active dry yeast shopping list
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (and extra for tops of bread) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated (and extra for sprinkling on top) shopping list
- 2/3 cup pepperoni slices, ground in food processor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
How to make it
- In large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add 1/4 cup olive oil, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, pepperoni and garlic salt. Mix well. Add flour and mix well by hand.
- Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth. Place dough in olive oiled large bowl and cover with damp cloth. Let dough rise until double in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Punch down dough, turn onto lightly floured surface and divide into 16 pieces. Round out each piece using fingers and flatten each until VERY thin. Rub a little olive oil on each and sprinkle with parmesan. Place dough on parchment lined baking sheet or baking stone and bake for 18 minutes. Remove and cool on rack.
