Almond Bars-gluten-free

- 1 and 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips (dark chocolate chips make the recipe richer in chocolate flavor) shopping list
- 2 cups sliced almonds shopping list
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups ground almonds shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cover a 13x9 pan with Release Aluminum foil or a silicone pad.
- Mix the melted butter with the ground almonds, stirring well.
- Pat this mixture on to your pan, covering the bottom of the pan as evenly as possible.
- (If you pan is slightly larger, add more butter and ground almonds)
- Sprinkle the almond -butter crust with the chocolate chips evenly.
- Pour the condensed milk directly over the chips, as evenly as possible.
- Sprinkle with the sliced almonds.
- Press the almonds lightly over the cond. milk with your finger tips.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned and set.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes and slice into diamonds or squares.
