How to make it

  • Put the potatoes in a pan and cover with salted water.
  • Bring pan to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
  • Cook the potatoes until fork tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Drain potatoes well.
  • Add the butter and cream.
  • Mash the potatoes until slightly smooth.
  • Add the bacon, chives and sour cream.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Sounds delicious! You can not go wrong when you serve potatoes. I think everybody loves them!

    I make my mashed potatoes very similar to this recipe. The only difference is that I add 10 cloves of garlic to the potato water and boil it right along with the potatoes. You should try it that way sometime if you like garlic.
