How to make it

  • Soak what beans overnight.
  • Drain and place in slow cooker; add lentils, salt, pepper, water, garlic, sausage, onions, celery and tomatoes.
  • Cook on high for 9 hours and on low for 2 hours.
  • NOTE: This is good served over hot cornbread with a side salad.
