Pecan Cheeseball

- 1 tsp ground mustard shopping list
- 1 tsp water shopping list
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg shopping list
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheese shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 cup chopped dates (i used dried cranberries) shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl, dissolve the mustard in the water; let stand for 10 min.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Add nutmeg and mustard mixture. Stir in cheddar cheese and dates/cranberries.
- Chill for 15 min.
- Shape int a ball, roll in pecans.
- Serve with crackers.
- Refrigerate left overs.
- Yields: 3 1/2 cups (4 in. ball)
