How to make it

  • Boil noodles according to package. Add beef and chicken bouillion to wate and bring to a boil, then add sauces and noodles to broth.
  • Spoon into bowl and top with roast beef, egg and green onion.

    In Hampton Roads/Norfolk, Virginia is where I think the yok noodles were "first" made. The factory is still here. Sun Noodle Factory. We boil chicken with just a little water to make a rich stock. Boil noodle in plain water. Add stock after water is drained away. Then add powdered chicken stock as a boost. Stir in raw diced yellow onions. Top it off plate with a lot of catsup, red pepper, soy sauce, and Worsterchire sauce. Be careful because this dish could add up to being heavy on the salts. Roast pork is good with spring onions in yok, as we call it in Vrginia.
