How to make it

  • Cut cheese and bread into same size cubes.
  • Put a cube of bread, a cube of cheese, and a cube of bread on a toothpick. Repeat.
  • Sauté anchovies in oil, add butter and salt and pepper.
  • Lightly toast skewers on grill while brushing with anchovy sauce.

    Bocconcini are tiny balls of mozzarella--usually sold in tubs of water where you find the Italian cheeses.
